Cacao-Flax Energy Bites
The days are getting longer, and you need to sustain those long summer nights! These cacao-flax energy bites are the cure. With a mix of rolled oats, shredded coconut, flax meal and cacao- you'll get a dose of long lasting energy that will fuel those late night dance parties. Happy summer!
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup flax seed meal
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- a pinch of salt*
- Medium Bowl
- Food Processor or Blender
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Pulse to combine until a dough forms.
Scoop out the dough into a medium bowl and roll out 1/2-1 inch balls.
Enjoy! These bites will stay good in the refrigerator for 1 week, or longer in the freezer.
