Prepare the vegetables

Peel and mince the shallot. Peel and mince the garlic.

Prepare the gravy

Place a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and add the butter, minced shallot, minced garlic, and thyme leaves. Cook until softened, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add the flour, and cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute. Whisk in Ā½ cup water and the Not-Chickā€™n bouillon. Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes. Taste gravy and season with salt and pepper.
