INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the vegetables

Peel and mince the shallot. Peel and mince the garlic. Pick the thyme leaves from the stems.

Cook the aromatics

Place a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and add the butter, minced shallot, and minced garlic. Cook until softened, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Finish the gravy

Add the flour, and cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute. Whisk in 1 cup water and the Not-Chick’n bouillon. Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in the thyme leaves. Taste gravy and season with salt and pepper.
