The Purple Carrot team has been actively following Tom’s development of the TB12 business over the past few years, and recognized the perfect alignment in our shared food philosophies. Our teams met in the summer of 2016 and developed a fast friendship and trust, and decided to jointly create TB12 Performance Meals to help people achieve and sustain their own peak performance.
TB12 Performance Meals feature recipes that, on average, are higher in protein and calories to help fuel the higher metabolism needs of active individuals. They are also gluten-free, limited in soy and refined sugars. TB12 meals are only available in the 1-2 person plan. Subscribers to TB12 Performance Meals will gain exclusive access to TB12 content and will qualify for giveaways of merchandise, memorabilia and more!
Each box of TB12 Performance Meals comes with the ingredients and step-by-step instructions needed to cook 3 meals. The meals are designed to feed two people, but some people may find that the meals make more (2+ servings) or less (1-2 servings) based on personal preferences.
Yes! These recipes are either taken directly from plant-based meals Tom and his family have personally enjoyed, or are inspired by the TB12 nutritional guidelines that structure Tom’s diet. The recipes feature fresh, whole foods and are nutritionally balanced. All recipes are approved by the TB12 team before being added to the menu.

There you’ll find our calendar feature, which lets you manage your deliveries and skip the weeks where you know you'll be busy or out of town. When you’re done editing your delivery schedule, remember to save changes at the bottom! As a reminder, the deadline for making changes to orders is always the Tuesday prior to shipment, at 11:59 PM ET.
